Default Online Wagering Sites

Which ones are offered in Texas?

Currently Youbet and Betpad offer them but neither have churchill.

I am looking toward BODOG but I am wondering if they have payoff caps. Does anyone know if they do?

I'm almost positive bodog has a 300-1 payoff cap.

I went back to check on the BODOG website

They have caps of $30,000 per race on Level A Tracks (like NYRA, SO.Cal, Churchill types)

$5,000 - $15,000 caps per race on lesser tracks

Those caps are really really high but not good if you play pick 6 but I rarely do.

They also offer 5% rebates on Exotic Wagers and 3% rebates on Straight Wagers. Also, there is no deposit fee charge.

Is this site to good to be true???

It's not too good to be true. I don't know an offshore book that charges for deposits. Make sure you ask about withdrawal charges, though.

If you're considering an offshore book, you should check out the rules/rebates/bonuses at Bookmaker.com and 5Dimes.com in addition to Bodog. Both are at least as solid as Bodog. Bookmaker has a similar system of total win caps and rebates as Bodog. 5Dimes does cap the odds for WPS, but the caps are fairly generous. (First $100 to win is track odds, after that it's capped at 110-1 at major tracks. 5Dimes also pays a 10% bonus on all winning bets (win bets and exotics) at "major tracks". That's huge.

Here's the list of what 5Dimes considers "major tracks":
Major Tracks
Aqueduct
Arlington Park
Bay Meadows
Bay Meadows Fair
Belmont Park
Calder Race Course
Churchill Downs
Del Mar
Ellis Park
Fair Grounds
Gulfstream Park
Hawthorne
Hollywood Park
Keeneland
Laurel Park
Meadowlands-Thoroughbred
Monmouth Park
Oaklawn Park
Oak Tree
At Santa Anita Park
Philadelphia Park
Pimlico
Saratoga

I'm not too keen on Bodog, since they uninvited my action a few years ago.

Bodog works well for me. I have tried two or three others, but like what I get from Bodog. Ever since my state ran Expressbet out, as well as all other US based online platforms, Bodog has been my personal choice for online wagering. True it doesn't work for the pick sixes, but for regular exotic wagering, I have found it quite satisfactory. I also enjoy the articles and handicapping comments from time to time by recognized individuals of the sport. For me to wager on a race I would have to drive two hours to an OTB at a Tribal Reservation Casino in a neighboring state. Funny thing about Missouri, casinos up the wazoo and no parimutual wagering.
