Every photo I look at makes me miss Spa and NY that much more... I missed the last 2 years which is awfully tough for me since I grew into the game through the Spa.

I hear you on that, man. Growing up in Upstate NY, 46 weeks a year I thought "I hate this f*ckin place" and 6 weeks a year I said "I LOVE this place!"

Yeah, but the good two-year-olds are hiding out in Louisville at the Training Center ....

Really hope I can get to Saratoga this year. "If you haven't been there and seen that, you ain't done nothin' " to paraphrase ...

NYRA has raised the stall rent to $10 a day(would have charged more, $12-$15 if they could). Let's hope that they put that money to good work fixing stalls, dorm rooms, and 3 tractors to open, and harrow the whole racetrack durring each renovation.
Let's hope the weather helps the Turf grow early. June 16th was the first turf date last year. I know this sounds like a wish list, but we need to take care of the horses, and the people who put on the show.

If anyone needs a racetrack job(grooms, riders, hotwalkers, etc.), get to Saratoga now! All trainers looking for help.

P.S. Does anyone know how much money NYRA takes in for stall rent for the two horseshows they have on the grounds each year?

I did see three tractors yesterday morning. Let's hope they keep it up all the time.
