Default Bruce Pearl/ Vols

How bad did they look last night? I cant remember seeing a top ranked team play the sloppy defense and ghetto offense these guys ran last night. It looked like they had absolutely no game plan, no set plays, and the defense was terrible.

The Cards arent good, but they are coached well, and that made a 20 point difference last night. Any other coach remaining in the tournament could have taken UT to a final 4 birth, it was really disturbing to watch how poorly the game was managed and coached from the bench.

Disclaimer : I had no stake in the outcome, wagers off

Tennessee was overrated all season. Kentucky gave them fits and the cats were horrendous this season.

U of L's sophomore class is outstanding. I have no idea where you're getting the idea that they're not talented.

The only thing I like about L'ville is the team defense. They play like a team is supposed to play. I dont think L'ville is nearly as good as UT player for player.

The real shame in the hole thing is Pearls play calling. They had no discipline at all, firing up 3's when they are sneaking back into the game. I thought UT weathered the best L'ville had early and when LV went into the half up only 7 after the poor officiating and terrible offensive sets by UT, surely they would make halftime adjustments. That never happened, they looked even worse. Pitono just coached Pearls pants off.

UT has been overrated all season, but they have a good core of kids. Theyve looked terrible every game in this tournament, just ill prepared to play this kind of basketball

It was only Pearl's 3rd year at Tennessee and he led them to their best record ever. He had two good seniors and a bunch of dogs in the junior class. Not really much to work with against Louisville, especially when Lofton is injured.

He's a good coach, bid. They just ran into a better team last night.

Ive never sat a practice maybe my opinion would be different. I think hes a good recruiter, but as far as coaching goes Ill wait till next years NCAA's. I just cant imagine a good coach letting his kids look that bad in the second half. The offensive sets they ran were just horrible and the defense was nonexistant.

I don't think he'll be there next year. Indiana is gonna go after him.

This may be true, but the defense that those kids played last night was nothing short of atrocious. Call a timeout and dig in their a$$e$.

Is he a top on their list of coaches? That seems like a lateral move coaching wise, no?

I expect Indiana will offer him the job with a 2.5 mil salary. Tennessee won't pay that much because they'll be forced to deal with fat Fulmer and the Summitt contracts.

The Marquette coach will be on the list, too. He seems to be on all of them. I think the guy is overrated.

Ive always liked Crean. Can you imagine how hard it would be to recruit in the UP if its not for hockey. UT should fire Fulmer, and pay Summit whatever she wants. Shes incredible. If she coached the men Vols last night they wouldnt have let down defensively like they did.

You have either exposed yourself as a frontrunner for being on the Pat Summit bandwagon or worse, exposed yourself as someone who actually watches womens basketball.

I have tied up some parlays with Uconn/Tenn women in the past.

I think Pat Summit does an incredible job with her team. I just like the way she runs the bench, as opposed to a guy like Pearl who has no control of whats going on.

I will watch any sport, especially when I have money on it. I ordered the cricket package a few years ago on Dish so I could tie some of Indias matches in my parlays

I have no clue about womans basketball and Summit didnt win all those games by mistake but it would seem that being a top womans coach would be a lot easier than being a top mens coach. Plus doesnt she and Uconn get like 5 McDonalds all americans a year?

Cricket may be more formful than racing from Uraguay

That game last night was awful. 20 turnovers by the Cards and 17 by the Vols. Tenn shot 33.9% from the field and 68% from the line. Louisville at least shot well. I agree with Coach on Louisville having a real good sophomore class. And I agree with those who say that Tenn was overrated. They stood out this year in a horrible league. They did beat Memphis and Memphis did play a very very good out of conference schedule. I would not be surprised to see Memphis lose tonight or Sunday.

Poor shot selection I would assume. But they were not very good on the offensive side of the court.

I like Crean too, very solid coach, never any bullsh!t recruiting violations, etc. But Marquette isn't in Marquette, MI, it's in Milwaukee (not that that makes it easier to recruit to)

Marquette is in the straight up ghetto. I partied there a couple times and I slept on a couch and I was afraid for my life....
