Default Fairgrounds Race 7

Daytona looks to be the best of this group as the controlling speed, but be aware. This Irish-bred has won 5 of 9 while in this country, but his 4 losses were all with Alex Solis aboard. Mike Smith chose to stay in California and Solis is in the saddle tomorrow. Maybe he doesn't fit this horse well.
At 12-1, I'm taking a shot with Brilliant. He runs well fresh, likes give in the turf and owes me from a big score last year on Derby Day when beaten by a nose!

Looking at PP for brilliant he sure does like the give in the ground. I wonder if he will stay at 12-1 very interested in seeing what he goes off at and if everyone else in the world knows his propensity for soft T. If he goes off at 6-1 or higher i'll play him straight.
