How does NYRA announce a contest with a start date of Feb 14? ( After franchise extension expires)

Yet, they can't sell Saratoga box tickets because the franchise has not been decided.

Odd, they took my order for Festival tent tables a few weeks ago. (At least they said they did - I haven't got confirmation yet)

no doubt they still have to plan as if there is a future. beats scrambling around later, trying to get things going. gotta be easier to cancel if necessary, rather then rush to get things moving.
