And both were eminently playable off their trips in their respective debuts. Of course, I blew it in both cases.

Don't marry yourself to this opinion.

Right, he's completely hopeless, especially on the grass. If you want to bet this horse, and I'm being kind, again I would suggest you wait for a drop to maiden claimers....which should be in about 10 minutes.

What horse and race are you referring to? Prado rode the horse we are currently discussing and never left the fence until the stretch.

The Aqueduct race that I Lost My Choo came out of looks live that was won by Stormy Miracle. Obviously it was a crawlfest pace and that hurt I Lost My Choo, as well as My Princess Jess, who lost a photo in the 8th at GP today; not a bad effort considered the filly started from the 12 hole and was very wide on the second turn.

It was a lot more than " not a bad effort " in my opinion and I will be very surprised if she doesn't win stakes assuming she stays sound.

That race from Aqueduct was discussed at length here just after it was run.

I'm not one for hyperbole. Yes, it was very impressive (My Princess Jess' effort).

Despite the fact the 4th was run faster, I expect the The Cats Affair-My Princess Jess division will produce more eventual winners.

I'm still surprised My Princess Jess went off as big of a price as she did and how big the exacta came back. Has to be due to drawing in off the AE list.

The pace in the 4th race was way faster with the half going 2 1/5 seconds slower in the 8th and yet the final time was only 3/5ths slower. There is little doubt which race was better.

She was a reasonably big price because her debut came back reasonably slow ( due to that slow pace ) and she was facing not only the winner but also the Mott horse who had presumably run very well in its prior start. Plus, there were some horses that looked well bred. And, she had post 12....and, as you said, drew in from the AEs.
