![]() Back to back complete game shutouts for big John Lackey.Very important to make a statement tonight like this. The A's,and Rangers both won easily tonight and last night, and we needed to let both those teams know we intend to take this division.Yes,Gander, Vlade is still hitting(1 hr,and 2 other singles-I think.)

![]() The Angels are a slow starting team Scuds, can't believe you were worried.....Scoscia is the best coach to play for and possibly in the league, he organizes the game well in my opinion...I would have played them to win the world series if I didn't get smoked when I was out in Vegas.....

![]() Angels need to score more runs. When Vlad isnt hitting homers they arent winning. The thing they have going for them is their division and their young pitching. I still like the A's better, better hitting and their pitching has potential in the later part of this year.

Well,Gander, Halos have an easier schedule in July than the A's. It is possible the Halos could get a lead in the division. If I get odds on the A's,then I would cover bet(because I know injuries are a huge part of this, and can happen any time.) Junior Weaver has a little bicep tendinitis, and will miss his start Monday Night. He has had this, and pitched well with it.This is incredible managing by Scioscia(most managers would let him pitch in a race this tight, and momentum being so important.)It is a silent vote of supreme confidence that he thinks this team can run them down in September.BTW,NEED J.P. HAYES to win today in order for me to get alive with the Chisox for $1306 (if repeat as champs.) |
