![]() Is Coa claiming against himself for driving his own mount into the rail.
Funny stuff....and an absurd inquiry. |

![]() Scared who?
The head on, and back view, showed there was a ton of room and Coa's right handed whip drove the horse into the rail. The rider of the winner kept a straight path and did nothing wrong. |

He might have, as he was possibly intimidated, but there was a huge opening and moving up the fence at that point is usually right.....as opposed to having to alter course. I understand your argument but I think in this particular situation it is reasonable to think he did the right thing. |

![]() Seems to me that the horse would've won if hand ridden. What a novel notion that jocks just can't seem to grasp.
You can't be working with a full deck if you're busting the horse righty in that situation. |

![]() I can see why the inquiry, but why the hell the objection? It wasn't even close to a foul.

![]() Pretty funny they spent about five minutes looking at it.
There had to be an inquiry based on what the pan feed looked like - but after one viewing of the head-on...it should have been enough. The thought of Coa claiming foul for a rail horse being kept in without much room - no one consistantly keeps the rail sealed like he does...if he thinks that's a foul...than he's probably fouled about 90 or more horses this year. Him claiming foul there is beyond mysterious - perhaps not just because of the fact he drove his mount into the rail, under right handed whipping...but also because of how he rides, and the fact that him claiming foul only means people get to watch the embarassing head-on over and over. |

![]() It was a comedy show. And you're right DrugS....the idea of Coa thinking a guy should come down for possibly putting him in tight, inside, is one of the biggest ironies of the racing year.
