Default Tiznow

I'm extremely late to this party, but after watching numerous race replays, I've decided that Tiznow was the Real Deal. What happened to him after he won the Breeder's Cup Classic in 2001? Where is he standing stud? I've watched the replay of that 2001 Classic about 2,017 times and *still* am not sick of it!

Here is his most recent report from the Blood-Horse.

Click the Stallion Register pages indicator to get his lifetime accomplishments at stud. Got a champion in his first crop (2yo filly Folklore).

Can still hear Tiznow wins it for America...one of the great race calls ever...and for a truly great horse.

The 2001 BCC is my favorite race. Ever.

Durkin has lost a few MPH on his fastball, but on that day he was amazing, if just for that call alone.

If there's a place to sign up for a Tiznow fan club I'm there. I could watch those stretch runs all day. Loved getting to see him, thanks for the photos.

Keep an eye on Colonel John. Tiznow over Turkoman. I always enjoy his offspring whatever they do. Do we know how Tiz Wonderful's doing?

Tiznow ran his best races at the big dance. Back to back classic victories in identical times.
