Default NY Racing Model

I am very interested in the future of NY racing, but I have to admit I do not have a full understanding of exactly how everything fits together financially.

Anyone have a good insight to the the structure?

1) What is the current arrangement for NYRA to share revenue with NYS.

2) How are current simulcast / OTB deals structured.

3) How is NYRA reimbursed for TV viewing rights (TVG, etc.).

Thanks

NYRA addressed this and said they did not feel it appropriate to offer applications and collect money from anyone until they knew for a fact that they would be running Saratoga next year.

I wish they hadn't made Crist's newest article, 'NYRA Franchise Debate Unnessary' a DRF+ article.
