I agree it is the weakest the Big 10 has been in years. Either no team speed or they don't know how to use it.

They have good speed at WR but don't take advantage of it. They have one descent RB but he fumbles when you look at him wrong. What is better descent RB that fumbles or a bunch of RB's that can't hit the holes?

osu even looks slow. wisconsin's line and backs are powerful. minnesota might be the quickest team but not overly talented.

Another year that the Buckeye defense will win the games for them. Ought to be interesting to see how they hold up on down the road...

Looks that way!! Joe will never go until he dies. Those are just the facts as they are. He has earned the right to do that. They had the excuse last year as Morelli was a first year starter. He has not improved at all. Zilch. Not that it is all his fault, but I mostly blame him. As a Penn State grad, it does pain me to know we sit somewhere below Wofford and somewhere above Florida International on the college football food chain!!

Play the three worst teams in the country?

Penn State doesn't play any of the service acadamies, the pansies that they scheduled they beat. Notre Dame likes to play the service academies and look at them they are 0-5.

Temple and Buffalo are real tough teams.

All the service academys are rated much higher than Florida Atlantic and Buffalo. In Division IA there are 121 teams. Florida Atlantic is last and Buffalo is 116/121. Notre Dame is 86th but are 0-5 and have yet to even be in a game in the second half except against PSU.

Penn State was ranked and im sure they will be going to a bowl game. The only thing that Notre Dame will be doing for the bowl season is shoveling snow. Im sure it gets cery cold and snowy in South Bend.

Hoss, don't waste your time trying to reason with this cat. He's just in a league of his own. I'm a ND fan, but by no means did I or any realistic ND fan have high hopes for the season. NASCAR for some reason thought his team was bound for the Sugar Bowl after beating Florida International, Temple, Buffalo, and ND.

The Big Ten is prob the 3rd best conference right now behind that SEC and PAC Ten. I think you would have a hard time finding 6 better teams in one single conference than Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Mich State, Michigan and Purdue. The conference isnt that top heavy, but the top 6 teams are prob the best in the nation. However, the Big Ten's top teams do not compare to those of the SEC and PAC Ten.

I agree there are too many bowl games. College football isn't about the fans or players, its about these universities making money. Which to me is a big disgrace.
