Default New Dee Tee Yearling announcement

As many of you who are members of Dee Tee Stable know, we have purchased a yearling filly by Aldebaran who is the subject of an intense search for a name. I am happy to announce that Dee Tee has a second filly to be included in the yearling package. She is Hip# 3434, a filly by Came Home who should be very familiar to everyone. I bought her for $12000 on Thurday for myself thinking that we may be bidding on Sumwon's sister today. However Sumwon's sister looks like she already has some serious issues and I did not find any horse that I liked more than this filly, so she will become the bonus horse. While she does not have a huge pedigree, she is a very nice filly who looks to have a lot of upside. Her vet reports were excellent and she has a very smooth walk and big stride. I will have some pictures of both fillies later this week.

DD,

We approached Pletcher regarding Wild Union and were rebuffed with our $27,500(-ish) offer... Chuck is starting to go through PP's again for another candidate and will be at it in earnest once KEE Sales end. We hope to have the '02' horse, or the line on it, before the end of the month.

how about 'haunted hill'..between the hell and came HOME with free HOUSE--well, the original movie with vincent price was pretty good....

but then, i always thought if i got a freehouse or some such, i'd name the horse 'seven gables' for the nathaniel hawthorne book.

This is just way too cool. My check for a share is going out tomorrow. Can't thank Steve and Chuck enough for this opportunity. Didn't know it was possible to have so much fun for a small amount of $! All your hard work is greatly appreciated.

If you're sticking with the "hell" meaning in the name:

Beit Gehenna

Sheol seems a bit rough!

Great news Chuck!

Great, the maniacs on this board have a horse with hell in her pedigree to come up with names for. Should be interesting.

Like Sumwon, this filly's sire and broodmare sire were both G1 winners at 10f who actually made it to the track at least 12 times in their careers. I like the fact that you guys are getting horses that - while they might not have the most flashy pedigree in the world - have a pedigree that indicates at least some level of stamina and durability.
It sounds like Chuck has done a nice job as usual, and I wish the best of luck to all involved.
