Default 9/14: Belmont (4th-9th)

Recovered handsomely from Wednesday travails with 2 scores Thursday despite facing a card that looked treacherous.. Angel Penna's Sundaysunday (9-1, $20.40) keyed the $1,028.50 6th race trifecta as top value win play when suggested longshot exotics add Lieutenant ($33.80 to place at insane 49-1) rambled home a clear second ($280.00 exacta). Shug's Cosmic was an overbet third at 3-4.. A $2,057.00 ($2)/$1,028.50 ($1) trifecta again shows the value of playing 4 horses underneath a key horse ($48 or $24 keyed first and second). You can be wrong 39 straight times and still break even with that 40th try.. (And you're not going to be wrong 39 straight times anyway..)

Sundaysunday also got the late P4 rolling right with chalky single Straight Romance (3-2) getting us halfway home before Zip to the City (1-1) got up in the 8th. That brought us to the nightcap and a thrilling finish to the good afternoon with Chief Tashamo "up in time" at 7-1. The P4 paid $415.50, and reversed a long string of multi-race wager frustrations..

Carryover was hit for a juicy $31,300.. Friday looks tough again leading up to an outstanding Saturday featuring the Matron, Futurity, Noble Damsel and Gazelle (Rags to Riches)..

Hope you caught the wave Thursday..

Default Belmont Friday Race 9

In the nightcap, i really like the outside horse #11 Scarlet Love trained by Dollase. His numbers put him right there and like those current odds of 11-1.

Went off at 9/2 from 8/1 ML. I liked him too.
I don't have todays pp's but I know I liked him from something recently.
Boy that makes me sound stupid.....
I don't keep up to everything like some, I just find horses I like and remember them.

Sad nothing was said by Durkin or TVG, like it never happened.
