Default Presque Isle Downs

Has anybody taken a look at entries for the stakes being run Saturday at Presque Isle Downs? It's amazing what slots will do for purses. I hope - sincerely - that Maryland racing takes note.

Regarding Maryland -- forget it. They'll never get slots. The Preakness will be moved to Philadelphia and the trophy will be recast in the shape of a giant soft pretzel.

Maryland racing took note many years ago when Delpark and Charles Town got slots. It's not that the racing people aren't paying attention this this stuff.

The ones that need to take note is the MD Legislature, and more specifically, The Obstructionist Speaker of the House, Mike Busch. The Legs is the party that doesn't give a crap about racing.......

Need to edit that - they do give a crap on Preakness Day when they can get in for free, eat for free, drink for free......
