![]() It sure has been a good couple of weeks for Langfuhr (well actually, I guess for Lane's End farm who owns him).
First Lawyer Ron's eye-popping performance in the Whitney, and then Jambalaya's victory in the Million yesterday. To be honest, I have never thought much of him as a sire (how much Nearctic inbreeding can the breed handle?) but his runners sure have done some nice things recently. For a stallion that stands for a fee ($20,000) that is less than half of somebody like Bluegrass Cat (a ridiculous $50,000), he might be a good value. But then again....everybody is a good value compared with $50,000 for Bluegrass Cat. |

and then check out the two unbridleds.....broken vow about ten times less the fee than unbridleds song, but one spot ahead on the list. the amazing one on the list--storm cat has fallen from grace, #28 on the list! no doubt he'll move up come fall, with more two year olds hitting the track.
