Today aint going so hot to say the least. Lost the early pik-4's at both CD and Monmouth, caught Ny's but at a loss, lol.
Skipped the late one at Monmouth(looked too chalky for me and so far its been even money and 1-2, so who cares) and alive with the first winner in both the hollywood and belmont pik-4's at pretty small prices. Need some help to bail out today.

And thud goes the late pik-4 with a very hard to use Soulshine winning at 15-1. On the bright side that will probably be enough to cause a carryover to shoot for on Friday. Not the greatest day over here.

Just got a little help at Hollywood Stud. 5 was 7-2 and kept me live in the pik-4. 3 deep in teh baby race coming up and then a 5 deep spread in the last leg. have to look for silver linings in dark clouds like today.

Hey Mike didn't you go to Vermont recently? How was it? I spent 1 week in 1999 travelling from Hartford, Conn to Northern Maine, mostly along the coast. Unreal, the beauty and history and just awe inspiring sights and sounds and food and people.

Huh? What the heck would give you that idea? I haven't been to Vermont since about 1991, back when it was across the lake from where I went to college. Haven't been there since. Curt you aren't drinking again are you? LOL!

Was quite a 4th to remember, been working at my job that pays the bills almost non-stop because of record flooding in western Montgomery County.
Played a few on Saturday, broke even. Sunday, gave it all back. Today, well that's another story. Worked 6 hours this morning, wasn't the most pleasant, but it was double time & a half something I rarely get. Managed to get to OTB, had the first seven right on top. Early double, pick 3's 2 thru seven rolling, the Pletcher pick four, Classic Marilyn (the key), 7th race exacta & triple. Most likely the most profitable holiday in 20 years of working. Back to the grind tomorrow, money for the Spa and a nice paycheck a week from Thursday. HOW WAS...WAS GOOD!!!
