What happens in Toga stays in Toga.

And it should.

Plus where would I start?

Did ya have enough cash money left over for bail?

the only guy who may need bail is a former member of DT. No one won big and no one got smoked. Off to bed for a 5:30am departure. Met some people who I believe will be lifetime friends though. And the Brockguy straight from Dublin is my 3rd guest in my rooom tonight. By the way the Marriott in Malta 12 miles in $279.00 a night.

I was only up for the day today... but it was a phucking riot, as usual. I can assure you it was a GREAT opening stanza to what figures to be a legendary meet.

You got that right! Although a hospital bed might be more appropriate!

There is soo much to speak of that no one has the time to discuss, as for my wagering though

Thursday: NONE of my horses even hit the board, got SMOKED
Friday: Much of the same
Saturday: Turned it around to hit the early double for 1k and that was used for the day wagering, end up a couple hundo
Sunday: GET OUT DAY. While I didn't get out from the hole I was in from the WHOLE trip, I did get about 2k of it back, and got bobbed on another 2k with Admiral bird. He wins and I probably win a couple hundo on the trip as I would have hit the pick three for $20 with him and the $20 horse on the end, instead down about 2k and quite honestly, it is the happiest 2k I have ever spent in my life. I MET GREAT PEOPLE, I heard great stories, I was around great animals, ELITE SQUARDEN FOR FUN TOMORROW, ONLY BECAUSE HE IS MY BOY and we chilled, great experiences and great food.

All I have to say is that even SOME of the DTers got to see Scav run up a friggin hill, I lasted about 3 minutes until I spit the bit

I'll believe that when I see it! The gossiping on this place is worse than a bunch of old ladies in a knitting circle!

I will tell my favorite story of the meet, as it mainly involves me getting made fun of.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Cherie when I arrived on Wed. Was standing there talking to her and after a few minutes her phone rang and it was Chuck calling her. About 30 seconds into her conversation with him, all of a sudden she blurts out "Chuck, would you please get over here so Kevin can look up and talk to you instead of staring at my tits?"

busted...

Met so many wonderful people this week whom I sure will remain friends with for a long time. I can't say enough good things about Chuck. The guy made an effort for me that not many people would or could ever appreciate. Thanks again bro...you are the man in my book.

Just got back in to Jax an hour ago. Had a flight from Newark to Atlanta delayed 4 hours last night, got into Atlanta at 1:30am, too late to get the connecting flight, got my first chance to "sleep" in an airport, then got a flight to Jax this morning. Total time in airport/on airplanes for what should have been a 2.5 hour trip: 17 1/2 hours! The joy of air travel. I'm sure others have similar stories.
By the way, just to echo everyone else, it was an absolute pleasure meeting as many DT'ers as I did. Just wish I could have been there for more than 1 afternoon (and also wish I could have collected a friggin ticket ).

Great pix. Wished I had stayed around for Sunday's action.

Not sure I can top GPK's story, but after the races on Saturday and a few drinks at the Horseshoe, my group decided that they wanted to go to the Racino to see ABBA, the Tour. I am still somewhat at a loss for words. It was very interesting and entertaining in a very strange way.

Sorry I didn't have the opportunity to meet more fellow DTers. I stopped by Carolina BBQ late Friday to introduce myself to Steve after the show. Met one other DTer as well, though his name is esacping me at the moment. Would have really enjoyed hanging around the tent had it not been for my prior engagements all weekend.

Will be back for Travers weekend. Best of luck to the Sum1 connections and to everyone else for a profitable and enjoyable meet.
