Baghdaria and Carson City Babe

Both broke down...

Any word, guys? Baghdaria was vanned off. Did she make it?

I was at CD and Baghdaria walked onto the van. It was super hot Sat so i dont know if it was heat exhaustion or what happened im not a vet but didn't look bad as the guy was going over her legs pretty good and let her walk up into the van so from what i saw i dont think theres a problem with her. Sorry wish i had more info but thats what i saw.

Thanks for the info! You never know what to think when you read 'vanned off.' Makes me nervous... glad to hear that she walked on.

If someone else knows something else id love to hear it b/c i like that fily she was in over her head Sat but i think she is a decent fily.

Good news from another BB:

"Baghdaria pulled up and vanned off in the Fleur De Lis Handicap at Churchill Downs today. Anybody have any news on this girl?
She is fine. I asked the vet myself, because I like the filly and she told me she'd be okay."

I wondered about her. Didn't see her get vanned off from the simulcast, but she just stopped, and stopped badly -- I figured something had to be wrong since she otherwise looked pretty legit in there.

happened right in front of where we were sitting, she was fine. walked on to the ambulance. looked like some heat issues (it was REALLY hot on saturday.)

I dunno... it was Louisiana Downs and according to the chart, she was 'distanced.' Hate to sound ignorant, but does that mean that she was pulled up due to a breakdown and distanced from the field?
