![]() Not sure that it will make too much of a difference, but looks like Bay Meadows has been granted their waiver.
Sincerely hope that racing will continue on the Bay Area, but the long-term still looks bad... Bloodhorse Link |

![]() Once Bay Meadows closes, their dates will likely be split between Pleasanton, and Santa Rosa. I think Santa Rosa will get the bulk of the dates, as they have the advantage of having a 7 furlong turf course that was installed a few years ago. I heard Pleasanton's director of racing on a show a few weeks ago. I don't recall him mentioning any plans for a turf course. Santa Rosa has already picked up 5 additional racing dates this year. They will host 5 days of the Solano County Fair dates, giving them 3 weeks of racing this year.
