Default my horses 2nd start

My horse ran for the second time here in Sao Paulo Race Track.

He improved a lot....2nd place...but he has a lot to improve, imo.....he is getting too angry at the beginning and is going to the lead....

Both times he was not supposed to do this....if he runs like he has to run (at the back of the pack) he can really run better, i think.

What do you think about the race?

Click on "Veja o Replay".......Pareo 002 (Race 02)....he is number 6, ultrasonic variety!

Thanks!

He ran well. He cut the rail horse off twice, youre lucky you didnt get DQ'd. The bump at and the inside horse coming over at the break looked like it got him excited. Hard to relax one when that happens until they are on the lead. Especially a second time starter

Actually, there was a claim against him...to disqualify him to the 4th place....the jockey who tried to pass him next to the rail argued that....but they maintaned the finish order! UffF...

Looked like it happened twice, glad you got to stay up. He will probably relax a lot better if he doesnt get bumped or have the inside horse come into his path in the first hundred yards. Looked like he got a little aggressive after that

On his 1st start he started at gate #1....he didnt get bumped, but he got insane and went more than 10 lenghts from the others....of course, he tired and got last place...he has to start at ease...otherwise he gets very agressive....i hope he does better about that next time out! Thanks for the comments!

FMC, when you draw the 1 hole with a first timer you need to hustle them out to establish position. Alot of times the horses will do it to themselves because they dont like being pinned on the rail with horses coming over.

I totally agreed with you....the problem is that he bumped badly from the gate....and we said to the jockey to dont let him stay far from the others because he likes competition.....but we didnt expect a reaction like that!.... ....that way...we're learning!

Damn that was a weaving start for a number of horses. Interesting race.
