Default Mountaineer last night

Did anyone notice they switched the races off the lawn after that filly broke her leg early on the card. The turf course is a joke, I walked it the last time I was down there and would be scared to death to run a horse over it. I almost broke my ankle walking 100 yards on it.

Is it that poorly maintained? We have plans to ship a mare there for a stakes race next week. Sounds like we need to reconsider.

I wouldnt run my dog over the grass there. Call them and ask them why they stopped racing for a half hour last night and then switched off the grass. The dirt surface, and grass there is terrible

Default i kno a trainer who used to run there

he prefered it over Lone Star Park where he lives b/c he said it is a deeper racetrack. I guess things have changed.
