Default Fatalities at Newton Abbot

An awful day for someone that likes to watch national hunt racing today, with three fatalities at Newton Abbot this afternoon.

In the second race, the Tony McCoy ridden It's The Limit, unfortunately suffered a "serious leg injury" when pulling up after he had won the race, he sadly had to be put down.

In the very next race, Red Society broke a leg and also had to be humanly destroyed.

And the in the staying handicap chase, Southerndown suffered an awful fall, which turned out to be fatal. The only good thing coming from it was he went almost instantly, he felt no pain.

RIP all of you.

Such a sad day.
