I think it has to be Nash...what did he have the other night? 23 assists? His best year coming off two MVP's, how can he not get it? Only Kobe can challenge imo...with injuries to Arenas and Wade late in the season, it should be a no-brainer.

my opinion is kobe is the best and most valuable player......... to be able to get that c.b.a team into the playoffs is truely amazing.

I agree that Kobe had zero support...I won't complain if he gets it but I have a hard time denying Nash his third straight!

Kobe is proly the most talented player, but you cannot deny Nashs' value to his team. Dirk is a great player, but he just doesn't have that "thing" I like to see in a player. Why come out and say, UHH, they are taking me out of my game? F that! Have you ever seen an MVP say that crap? Kobe would never, MJ, no way, Nash, no. Nash has been even better this year than the previous 2. The voters will look real dumb when the Suns win the title this year. I'm really feeling them. Has an MVP ever had his coach call him out like AJ did? MVP=DO NOT ever question my confidence.

Suns fans should have all had fits that the Spurs are in their half. The one team that they cant beat in a 7 game series.

I've been very disappointed in Dirk's play in this series. A superstar player of his caliber should never look as passive as he has. Up until the last three minutes of this game tonight, Austin Croshere had taken more second half shots than Dirk had. Devin Harris had put the team on his back and was carrying them. I said about Kobe recently that if the Lakers are going to go down, it has to be with him firing, not playing all that team ball stuff. Dirk doesn't have to take on the same offensive role that Kobe does but he does need to step up his game. The season was on the line and he was doing nothing. Now, a couple of big three's later, some of his disappearing act will be forgotten. Not by me though. Dirk is a great player. He's still one of the best players in the league. But he's not at the level of guys like MJ, Bird, Magic, Reggie Miller, even Kobe and Wade. He's more like the Garnett, Webber, LeBron type. Immensely talented. Great regular season and first three quarters of a game type. But when it comes time to take it to that next level, they don't have that inner fortitude that's necessary. Don't let the shots at the end of tonight's game fool u. Dirk has disappeared in these playoffs. Baron Davis is the one playing like an MVP in this series.

Dirk just made a reappearance. He took the game over. Blocked shots, made some steals, assists and hit some huge 3's. He came thru on the brink of destruction. He was it for the Mavs in the 4th quarter. 9 down after being up 21... and Dirk made it happen. I give him credit even though he is acting like a big baby. He flat out took over the game.
