![]() Even though we dont know who and what post each colt will have. Allot of preping and other things to do. Isnt it high on Pletchers list ,with his numbers that will probably be there, eliminate the short-cut for SS. Make him go around and not be able to get through on the inside? Probably all of Pletchers will be ahead of SS and at least one of them will have instruction to wait for the inside to go thru, thus blocking SS and compromise to a point. We know if SS and Borel can take the lilly pads inside he will be tough.

![]() If Adore The Gold doesnt get in then this might be one of the slowest Derby's ever.

![]() If 20 dont get in I could def see Pletcher either throwing in a horse to just stay close to SS or a rabbit to have the field moving some for a closer(CQ)
All I can say is at least dont have to worry about 17,18,19,20 posts then. Might have 7 or more wide in that first turn. Anyone think Teuflesberg could hold on for 3rd or 4th?? Just wondering |

![]() In my novice opinion, no way does Teuf fiinish in the top 4. We have some really stron closers and really strong stalkers this year. Quay and SS has proved that they can close into a slow pace. Hard Spun, Scat Daddy, and No Biz has proven that they can sit behind horses and wait. To me, the wol card horse is Stormello. If he goes to the lead ( which I dont think he will) then we could have a honest pace.

![]() Although he may keep out some "better" 10f colts, this race may need Teufleseberg for the pace. Otherwise, they may be going backward from the bell.
