Default Keeneland Polytrack / Post Positions

While the weather could definitely be better (we were in the 80s last weekend) there is never a bad day at Keeneland.

It will be interesting to see how a second meet goes over the Polytrack. Last Fall we saw an end to the "speed highway" that had dominated for so long. It may pay to be a little patient opening weekend to get a feel for how the track is playing.

If you are interested in how Post Positions fared over the Polytrack last Fall you can download a full report at: http://www.triplecrownselections.com/track_reports.php5. The report is FREE!

Not only are post positions covered for the first Polytrack meet but also for all turf races run since April 2005. (All distances are broken down for each surface).

Keeneland is a great place to be in the Spring. Enjoy!

Nicholson was on TV today here at noon. We had severe thunderstorms last night, tons of rain. He said the horses were out training on the polytrack today, and it was the same as always, unaffected by the rain.

Maybe that's why they call it an all-weather surface?

Any day at the track is better than a day in the office!
