Does anyone know the plans Pletcher has for Soaring By? He beat one of the horses in the barn I work for yesterday and the time was not that much slower than Scat Daddy's at the same distance.

It looks like the Lexington may be a possibility.

Certainly a stakes race is indicated for his next start," said Campbell. "The Lexington Stakes is a $325,000 race, run at a mile and a sixteenth, and a race that we would seriously consider."

Maybe I'm the only one in the world who's waiting for this horse to run on turf. I think his breeding is pretty decent for the lawn.

I think Cot Cambell has derby fever, and I think if he has the earnings after the Lexington, he will be in the gate. I think his Louisiana race is a throw out because he broke through the gate. He wasn't that much slower than the Florida Derby horses at the same distance that day.
