After handicapping all 14 races of the Haskell Day card, you might want to play Monmouth's free online contest that offers cash prizes to the top three finishers. Just remember that all selections need to be made by 11:30 AM Eastern.

The contest usually draws around 5000 entries, so hitting a top 3 position is very tough, but good luck to you if you try. See you on the leader board (I'll probably be looking up from the bottom of the pack).

Generally, a lot of longshots from my experience. A very tough game. At least my password still works. I think I can safely say I won't be cracking the top 3. Maybe the top 3000. Hopefully, will do better in our slightly less demanding contest.

Your observation is spot on Cal. A card like Monmouth's is probably going to have at least 3 or 4 price horses on the board. With the large number of contest players, to have any chance you need to include most if not all of them. Picking chalk just won't get you there.

Have fun at the Jersey Shore for Monmouth's signature race.
