|  Um.. Shouldn't this have paid a tad more? HAW Derby.. First - 12/1 Second - 5/1 Third - 18/1 Fourth - 19/1 3/5 chalk and 3/1 second choice out of the Superfecta, and it pays.. $4,074?! I thought that would be at least $17k.. |

|   I'm sure the small pool had the most to do with it but the fact that it was a 1-2-3-4 box may also have played into it. The exacta seemed very small at $155. |

|   Can't compare what you are used to (NY) to a smaller circuit, pool size is probably 5 times less at Hawthorne then NY. That being said, it still paid low for both chalks being tossed |

|   There was more than $55k in the pool, more than I expected.  After the takeout, it looks like about 22 people had it for $1.  It seems like a tough one to figure with Brilliant and Go Between out of the top 4. |
