Check out the videos and graphics links in the article. Talk about nailing down if a trip is good or not, they using chips to record the exact path for each horse.

Sounds like the same thing that Woodbine started using last week.

I personally feel that it is taking away the art of handicapping and watching races, odds on good wagers will continue to be less valuable
