Happy to see this. The coverage of Saratoga has been good, and the added exposure should be good for the sport.

As long as Versus doesn't start carrying College Football things should be alright.

Just saw this. I'm really thrilled at the sudden surge in programming. It might take awhile to get back to previous levels (Versus and NBC did not show the Haskell if memory serves), but this is a great start. There's an audience for horse racing, and it's finally occurred to someone that they shouldn't completely ignore it. I didn't experience a rush of bile while noting the airing of the Little League World Series recently. I can only attribute that to the Summer at Saratoga coverage.

To whoever got naked pictures of NBC Sports execs and is threatening to go public unless there is more horse racing on television, your plan appears to be working.

Weird. I remember looking for it and not finding it. Hmm. I guess I had a brain spasm. The other day I finished watching the Sword Dancer coverage and happened to catch that the Arlington Million was going on during a 30 min block on WGN. I mean it makes sense, being Chicago, but felt randomly slotted in there. The only reason I found that was I skimmed the schedule out of sheer boredom. Missed the first 12 min or so.
