I actually agree, and it seems that NYRA tracks are the only ones in America that don't have a zoom angle in addition to a pan during the race.
Not only that, but if you're not going to have a zoom angle, at least have the accurate first four runners at the bottom of the screen. In yesterday's sixth race, the numbers took about until halfway around the turn to show up, and then they were completely wrong. How the hell am I supposed to know if my horse is near the front? Every track in the country should have Trakus, there's no reason not to, but if you're too cheap to spring for it, at least be accurate in your primitive presentation. It's not that difficult.
