![]() Anyone know the reasoning why he left New York...I know he isn't a great jockey but he does get decent mounts regularly. Whats the logic in picking Suffolk? If he left New York a better idea would be Philly, Delaware, or New Jersey where they have nice purses and he would be a the top rider at any of these tracks. Just curious if anyone knew anything. Have caught some nice prices with Arroyo in the past.

Jockey Norberto Arroyo Jr. has been out of action since last week, returning to Boston to care for his ailing father, Norberto Sr., who was once a sparring partner for one of the greatest boxers of all time, Roberto Duran. Arroyo last rode at Aqueduct on March 26. 4/3 edition of the Daily News. Might just be easier to ride there while caring for his father. |
