Default What are the 2008 Saratoga giveaways?
I know they are behind with everything after being messed around by the politicians-but with only 8 weeks to go they still have the 2007 giveaways up on the NYRA site.

I presume they'll start with a Cornelio bobblehead on the 24th....

Hopefully no more lawnchairs that can't hold 150lbs and umbrellas that last 1 or 0 uses-compared to the last umbrella giveaway there (3 or 4 years ago)-which lasted for months not hours before becoming useless

I think the give-a-ways include a belt buckle, a golf tee, bottle of lotion, Saratoga red light bulb, a bookmark and a dog treat.

Seriously, I'm not sure. They always have the best line-up of give-a-ways, and a lot of it is relatively high quality. Some of the lunch boxes, hats and t-shirts I still use to this day.

I heard NYRA was giving away a bobble "head" of Spitzer's hooker. She did more for the future of racing in NY than anyone else last year.
