Default Thanks Steve Byk

Thanks Steve for making Saratoga great this year. Never made it up there and had to endure from a far in SC (11 out of last 13 year I have) But, your show on Sirius, your show with Seth (thanks to someone who posted the link) and Derby Trail, made this year's voyage fantastic and one of the most enjoyable.

Carolina Barbecue is omnipresent! See link! Was all set for Travers day when a family emergency killed the plans...perhaps Steve was the reason the handle was up sharply!!! Great job.

I loved the broadcasting from the Spa - couldn't make it there, but almost as good as being there. Hope it continues from other tracks.

Well done, Steve! You're a valuable asset to the sport, you bring a unique and enthusiastic perspective. Your love of horse racing shines through everything you do for us fans.

Thanks to all for the exceedingly kind comments. It was a very special edition of Saratoga for me with so many unexpected privledges converging at once. Looking back to 2001, my first year running the Barbecue, it's hard for me to believe that six years later I would host a daily radio show from there, be involved on the local OTB TV network with a weekly show, and help create a racing partnership that sent a runner out twice at the Spa.

It was an overwhelming experience that has generated a new flood of Saratoga memories that I'll treasure, having so many Derby Trailers, Dee Tee partners and new and old friends visit and enjoy the season with me. Thanks to everyone for keeping me motivated to do the best I can to share the pleasures of racing with you.
