This is an ultra-competitive card, if you can catch one longshot (or a couple), bet properly and there is money to be made.

Race 1: #9 Half a Note is the fastest coming in.. Luzzi, Jacobson and outside post don't help, however. Both Contessa horses are fast enough to win, entry may be the play.

Race 2: The 2 that have run, #8 Mythical Pegasus, and #4 Anakim, both ran fast first out. A firster will have to be good to beat them.

Race 3: Agree with Steve, have to let Tuefelsberg beat you on the turf.. Frankel's Owners Manuel is similar to Tberg, fast dirt, 1st turf? Problem is, the rest of the horses are virtually the same speed fig wise, #6 Biggerbadderbetter has solid pattern, nice ML.. #9 Vaunt should improve 2nd start for Mott, #3 Mysterious Pientre is making first start for Pletcher.. probably a reach, but #7 Mission Approved is classic 0-2-X pattern, the price will certainly be right.

Race 4: Another wide open race, #4 Shone is the fastest coming in, should run well...#9 Steve's Double is improving every start, and Chuck's former horse, #10 Silver Source should also run well.

Race 5: No stand-outs in here, agree with Steve on first timer #8 Fra Lippo, if he can run at all, should beat these... favorite #9 Lhotse Quality makes sense, but seems to find a way to lose... possible longshot to hit board: #5 Autumn of my Years, 1st start was OK, last was a complete toss.

Race 6: Totally agree with Steve's 4 in here, led by #7 Texas Elegance.

Race 7: Very competitive race, #4 Firemist has improved every start, very solid, 15-1 ML..#7 Arabian Prince, very fast in Dubai, 1st US start for MCL.. longshot throw-in underneath, #12 Aaron's Classic, 3rd start off layoff, if some of the bigger names don't run, he can be closing at the wire.

Race 8: Agree with 3 of Steve's top 4, #4 Oedipus O'Neal, #2 League of Nations, and #12 Warmonger.. I don't see much to like about Chestertown Slew..

Race 9: I do think Dream Rush is vulnerable today, I'm surprised Steve left out Anthony Black/Tim Richey's #2 Akronism, coming off HUGE fig at Philly Park 6 weeks ago. #9 Sheets ran big at Calder in last, repeat of that makes her very dangerous... #1a High Again, shortens up, should run well.

Race 10: tough to go against #9 Sweet Brush, Pletcher and fastest figs coming in... Steve's pick, #5 Let's Get Going is very interesting, kind of going in wrong direction, but new trainer may help and has a fast one to run back to... #8 Skipp Datt is very solid.. Both Trombetta horses coming off good races at Delaware..

I know I've agreed with Steve's picks on most races, but that sure isn't a bad thing.
Good luck to all today!

I have 3 horses that I like today. Not that you should listen to me, but here they are.

6th Race #9 Thunder Minister 12-1 JV rides for K O'brien....He will often bring one in at a price for the Obrien's at the Spa. Why not do it today.

8th Race #7 Sensational Humor 6-1 from Distorted Humor. Has been in the money in every turf try thus far. Just broke his maiden last out. I see no reason for him not to at least be in the money today.

9th Race #1 Silver Knockers 10-1 First of all, I love the name. It is hilarious to listen to Tom Durkin saying Silver Knockers. Other than that, the horse ran a nice race last out in the Prioress @ Belmont. Likes to stalk/close & with all the speed in here today, I think she closes and gets up for the win.

Good Luck

Thought the 4 was poised to take it down there. Could have used it.
Looks like Steve has the ex/tri if it's boxed.
Nice work.

I'm going to go with the 10 off the AE list here.
Speed has been kind on these races - looked to be the quickest.
With the 3 and the 8 (not the six, sorry)

Back from Toga/Michigan. Haven't seen a form since last Saturday.

Fresh and ready to roll....except, I haven't had more than 10 minutes (maybe 1 uninterrupted by the girls) to look at the P4.

Here's my stab for some action that I am craving:

R7: 2,7,8,9
R8: 4,11,12
R9: 3,7
R10: 8,9

Working on tomorrow's card now, will be ready to fire....

GL all.

Geez. Is this another case of the fractions being off?
The 5 goes :23 and then :46 and change and hangs on!
Weird race. That track is pretty darn deep.

Boomski. If only BG got up for the win. Had 10$ ATB on BG and Down, only had the tri for a buck. Would have been astronomical had BG won the race.
