Default Great weekend so far for racing!!!

I don't know anyone who loves the game more than I do. I think its been a great weekend so far for racing with the reemergence of some stars, confirmation that some horses are indeed stars, and some great new shooters emerging.
Wait A While is just an impossible horse not to love. Shed already won a turf stakes race and a couple on wet tracks while placing at a high level on dry tracks. But her mile and a quarter effort yesterday was just smashing and the kind of effort that makes anyone excited to see how she will perform even against older mares later this year. A smashing filly she is.

Invasor's Pim Special looked ok to me and earned a big fig that I questioned because I though he beat suspect horses. I liked him, but wanted to see confirmation that he was indeed the goods and he is indeed the goods. He just may be better than Flower Alley and Lava Man. His win this weekend was awesome, and adds much needed star power to the older division.

Henny Hughes was one of my favorite 2 Yo's last year but I feared that his winter in the desert was going to take him back a few steps like it has so many other horses. What a performance by him this weekend!!! He beat nothing but very rarely do I cry out "Holy ****" when watching a race and when he switched leads and took off it was a hair raising performance. He could be ANYTHING this year and I'm not so sure he will just sprint. I think he will go at least a mile, maybe further and that race was just awesome!!! Glad to see him back!
