Default A Belmont Longshot

CP West is a horse ill be throwing in along with Rags. Perhaps a more patient well timed ride could get this one to go, has defintely shown me that he has the talent to do it

For what it is worth, I am also including CP West on my tickets. Nick Zito has a way of coming in and taking this race. Prado is a masterful rider. And as a selfish aside, CP West's sire is the sire of Sumwonlovesyou. If CP West does well in the Belmont it will reflect well on "our" horse.

He has won one Belmont with Birdstone and had a bunch of seconds.

Slew

For some reason I had in my head that Zito not McPeek was training Sarava - too many things going on, but Prado was riding Sarava so it could be a great combination!

I wouldnt be surprised at all to see CP West finish last in this race. The horse ran the best he could in the Preakness. CP West tends to digress after he runs a decent beyer.

102 - preakness
85 - withers
92 - allowance
69 - bcj
92 - futurity
86 - msw

He increased 17 pts from the withers to the preakness. I say that CP West runs about an 89 or 90 in the Belmont. That would put him last or 2nd to last in this race.

On the flip side, Rags looks like she will improve.

104 - oaks
96 - sa oaks
93 - lsvrgnes
88 - msw
62 - msw

I say that Rags runs around 110 or 111 which would put her right there for the win or 2nd place in this race.
