Thanks all. Good luck to you DTS. By the way, I love the name Big Daddy Ray. Do you ever go to Jockey Club Registry to browse the names of horses?

Thanks for the good wishes.
Yes, I browse the names. Always a challenge to come up with a good one, though I didn't name Big Daddy Ray. Two that I named are Shot o' Bourbon and Darlin' by Day. Both yearling fillies.

Sharon is my parner on BDR. She owns Harper Hill Farm, Harpersfield, NY, where I have some of my horses. She's a very capable horse woman and pretty well known on some back stretches, as she takes horses in need of layups to live for a while at her farm so she can help them recover.

I havent had a chance to name one--but the name Skeleton is available and that is what I would name a horse.

That sounds like a good one, especially if it's a chestnut...
Red Skeleton...one of my favorite "clowns" of all time.

Default Horse Name....

I want to name a horse TumbleWeed, me and one of my buddies were joking that that's what we would name a horse if we got one, and I actually like it.

I would want the horse to be black. I would out black blinkers on him. The jock would wear all black with cross bones on the back.

Kycher is a guy from the ESPN board whos job was to massage high school girls before big sporting events. He loved to share intimate details of his sex life with the board too. I think he lived in Ohio, close to Kentucky and he worshipped Kentucky racing and hated NYers.
Oracle drove him away from there and he was never to be heard from again.
