Default Arlington 'Watch Notes" from M. Hersch

Amen Hallelujah
TRAINER: Steven Asmussen
LAST RACE: ARLINGTON PARK Sep 18, 9th
FINISH: 1st by 5

Breakout performance for 2-year-old filly who had just won maiden last out. Led, drew away, and the time was very fast considering how slow Polytrack played today. Stakes may be in near future.

In Nike's Honor
TRAINER: Chris Richard
LAST RACE: ARLINGTON PARK Sep 11, 8th
FINISH: 1st by 1-1/2

Dirt sprinter tried a two-turn turf mile – and seemed to excel at it. He’s by Honour and Glory, but there’s St. Jovite on the bottom. Grass-based improvement might not be a one-and-done thing, and he’ll merit consideration in next try.

She Be Wild
TRAINER: Wayne Catalano
LAST RACE: ARLINGTON PARK Sep 05, 9th
FINISH: 1st by 5-3/4

Excellent turn of foot + professionalism + cruising speed = grades-stakes-class 2yo filly. Poly was slow on this day, and thinking that won't fully be reflected in her speed figures. She may come into Alcibiades at KEE under-rated and over-priced.

Approvedbythemint
TRAINER: Hugh Robertson
LAST RACE: ARLINGTON PARK Sep 05, 7th
FINISH: 1st by 2

Has steadily come forward in two-year turf career, and while he got a perfect trip in this N2X alw., he made the most of it. May need this 9fs trip for best -- but maybe not. Carey at HAW? Something at KEE? In any case, he ought to be a fair price again next time.
