Musta been 25-30 years ago and Ned ships this hoss named Sovereign Dreams ( I think ) up to Saratoga to run for like $35000 going a mile on the turf. This hoss was real real good at a flat mile. They only wrote 1 mile 70 yards or 1 mile 1/16 turf at Suffolk . Me and my brother drive up there to bet on the hoss. On the way a guy who owes us $200 stops us in the car and pays the deuce....wow , perfect timing . The hoss is running in the second race.
