It's never too early to think Derby, but I am very dubious that we will see any Derby or Oaks contenders in any of the races you mentioned. The choices for next Saturday are somewhat slim, but I think that the overall quality of competition in the Del Mar short season is a touch better. The likelihood of excellent weather is much better.
