They don't.

For SPEED figures (not PERFORMANCE figures), the internal fractions are irrelevant. When you make a Beyer figure, the only thing that matters is the final time.

Some 'performance' figures may take pace into account when creating a final numerical figure. That's not the same thing as a Beyer or other speed figure.
