I think it’s a great idea... I wonder if Churchill will write a race for June to bridge the gap to the Haskell and Travers. In any case, I guess what will happen is that trainers will aim their colts to be at their best in the SA Derby and other races rather than trying to build them to a peak...Keeping these horses at a peak for an entire year is not going to be easy.
