Speed kills - there is just no substitute in racing for speed.

Again, Castellano delivers the knock-out blow in Saratoga's eighth race following a half in 44.90. Life and death to the wire, Storm Pursuit gutted out the final eighth in a race where late runners should have been able to gobble up the winner's share. Storm Pursuit was a $12,500 claimer at Pimlico just two months back.

Larry Mejias was not able to push Take Down Two's head to the top on the wire.

Sense of Peace looks like severely damaged goods pulled up after five furlongs despite looking to have the front runners in sight at the quarter pole.
