Nice way to treat our vets
Nothing about this surprises me. When my father-in-law, a disabled WWII vet, passed away while supposedly being cared for by the DVA in 2002, I brought a tort case against the DVA pro se. Got to the deposition phase when I realized I was outlawyered, so I wound up settling the case for a fraction of what I sued for.
Not at liberty to reveal the nature of the negligence, but believe me when I say that the VA caused my wife's father"s death.
