henry the second and thomas a'becket fought about criminous clerks back in the latter 1100's. i can't believe that in this day and age, the church still believes it should be able to handle these horrible crimes in house. that there is a lack of prosecution. it must be made criminal, these occurrences must be reported immediately to the police. in every case, no exceptions.
honestly, i can't understand how any parent would ever not call the police.
