What's puzzling? NYRA is the preeminent circuit out there and they're something like the 10th to get TRAKUS.
I don't bother with TRAKUS because I don't have the time to manually get the information. I just don't get why tracks pay for the service then agree to have it disseminated in a form that's really not efficient for anyone playing more than a single track. Moreover, I know that there's much more info on the TRAKUS site. Why not make 1/8ths or 1/16ths available to the public? Doesn't the track pay for that additional info?
But, my real beef here is that we're not getting all that we can as horseplayers. It's NOT Equibase data. So make it available to people.
Maybe NYRA will finally do this.
And what's sad is that people in the industry just don't get it. What are you guys defending? It's crumbs. Give us the full product.
