Default 150

In my opinion this meet did not meet expectation from the 150th side of things...for this type of celebration of history, I found it odd that NYRA and the town did little beyond banners and the fastest paced Floral parade in history complete with a NYRA float with fake jockey's as the main attraction...oh yeh let us not forget the lucky winners of a $15,000 dollar wager each Saturday...First clue that the 150 advertisement did not reach it's audience is all winners came from about a 20 mile radius of the track?

Someone from the 100th should have left a blueprint for success to be followed. Remember my parents telling me how this town did something nightly for the 100th and what a celebration it was. But we do have downtown which is entertaining after midnite nightly... Hopefully the 200th will prove strong for my grandchildren to attend.
