And a little more perspective war is not waged like it was in 1943 when thousands of troops from each side dug in and did battle yards apart but I guess you think we overlooked that. Additionally Body armour which wasnt around in 1943 has cut down on the mortality rate as has advances in medicine. You want real perspective. Troops coming back from this war with missing limbs is twice that of previous wars.
