My horse is a GREAT horse.

Power, Elegance, Kindness, Style, Cadence, Rhythm, Beauty, Conformation, Looks, Character, Charisma, Boldness, Movement...he has it all except for temperament. There are very few that are capable of riding a horse like this.

I have owned him since he was a yearling, and he was the first horse that I ever trained from a yearling up. I’ve seen him grow and develop from an ugly ducking to a graceful swan in both his personality and conformation. That horse got me through some tough times, and we've had a lot of ups and downs together...from exhilarating triumphs to upset defeats and from hospital visits to being on top of the world.

He is by far the best horse that I have ever ridden, and I've ridden hundreds of horses. I like the challenge of him, and his cadence, rhythm, and POWER. He is so awesome to feel underneath you. It feels as if you are holding "lightening in a jar" when you take the reins and put him on the bit. When you are riding him, you know that you are sitting atop one of the best. He even carries himself like he knows he is special, with an extra air...his head held high and beautiful neck arched. He is magnificent to watch when he is playing out in the pasture while engaging in passage and extended trots.

I have cried in his neck, and I have laughed at his tricks. Just being around him is sheer joy and delight. I smile every time I see his magnificent face, when he pricks his ears with a bright expression as if to say “Hi”.

I wouldn't trade him for any other that treads this earth. He has captured my entire heart and soul, and is priceless to me. There are some things that money can't buy, and he is one of them even though he may be lame for the rest of his life because he suffered a traumatic injury a few months ago that won’t heal. I’ve had him for seven wonderful years, and he will be with me until the day he dies. He is my best friend.

To you, Chucker.
